Purpose of this educational program

The educational program trains highly qualified specialists in the field of public and municipal management who, based on systematic theoretical and practical knowledge, are able to effectively apply modern innovation-oriented methods of analysis, forecasting, design and programming of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, subjects of the Russian Federation, individual municipalities, including those focused on project and program approaches in the management of individual areas of socio-economic policy implemented at various levels.

Graduates have the skills to ensure effective management of the organization, participate in the organization and functioning of public and municipal management systems, and improve management in accordance with modern trends

Government agencies and public corporations and trusts have specific and rigorous standards for the stewardship of public resources. Public management careers will require technical skills related to budgeting, personnel management, procurement, or other activities, and specific knowledge of the regulations and other policies that govern public management.
