Purpose of this educational program
The Master's program "Next-generation infocommunication systems and networks" is aimed at training specialists in information technology, telecommunication systems and data transmission networks.
This program is based on the analysis of global and domestic forecasts of demand for promising professions, takes into account key trends in scientific and technological development: active implementation of digital technologies; automation of production and management processes; an increase in the amount of data available for analysis; globalization of science and technology.
During education process students will study both the theoretical foundations of building infocommunication systems and networks, including 5G and IoT networks, and gain practical skills in working with modern infocommunication equipment:
- multiservice communication networks and switching systems;
- automated measuring instruments based on personal and industrial computers;
- digital devices for generating, converting and processing signals;
- microprocessor devices and systems on a chip;
- Programmable logic integrated circuits (FPGAs) and embedded systems.
After graduates acquire the following skills and abilities that guarantee employment:
- the ability to perform modeling of objects and processes in order to analyze and optimize their parameters using modern application software packages;
- the ability to develop and provide software implementation of effective algorithms for solving formulated problems using modern programming languages (C, C++, Python);
- skills in organizing and conducting experimental research using modern measurement tools and methods;
- skills in ensuring the functioning of telecommunication equipment of multiservice networks;
- skills in designing electronic means of infocommunications.
