Protected unmanned automated systems

Master's Degree, Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security

09.04.01 Informatics and Computation

Program length: 2 years

Language of study: Russian

Place of study: Taganrog

Purpose of this educational program:

This program is aimed at gaining knowledge, skills and abilities in the developing field of science and technology related to unmanned systems. Today, the state actively supports the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Enterprises involved in the production of unmanned systems require specialized personnel, which are still few in the market.

During education process students will master 4 main modules.

The module "Fundamentals of automation and robotics", in which it is planned to study the basic principles of operation of unmanned systems and robots, methods of their programming and control.

The module "Algorithmization and artificial intelligence". Here, students will learn how to develop and optimize algorithms for the operation of unmanned systems, learn machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence methods that allow unmanned systems to make decisions based on the collected data.

The module "Hardware platforms, navigation and communication systems", in which students will study the principles of operation of various types of sensors used in unmanned systems, as well as develop algorithms for navigation and location determination of unmanned systems. Moreover, students study the standards and communication systems used both to control UAVs and to create communication within the UAV group.

The module "Design of secure unmanned systems", which will study the methods and principles of designing and developing unmanned systems, taking into account the requirements of security and information protection, trusted development.
