Purpose of this educational program
The program is aimed at training monumental artists who will be able to perform various works in the field of artwork and carry out pedagogical activity in the field of fine arts.
Students of the program acquire knowledge and skills in the field of monumental and easel painting. Within the program students are introduced to various techniques of creating and restoring works of monumental and decorative art, such as painting, mosaic, sgraffito, stained glass, enamel. The program also helps building competencies required for the teaching of art disciplines in educational institutions of various levels.

Advantages of this study program:
- Students will gain the opportunity to reveal their artistic abilities, realize themselves in the field of art work, and master a variety of competencies necessary for successful work in the field of easel and monumental painting, artistic design as well as in educational activities.
- Plein-air trainings take place both within the Rostov region and in other regions of Russia such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the cities of the Golden Ring. Work placement internships take place mainly in the workshops of the Academy of Architecture and Arts of Southern Federal University (it is also possible to hold practices in third-party organizations). Pedagogical internships take place mainly at the Childrens Art School at the Regional Center for Architectural and Artistic Pre-university Training.
- Students can get an internship in the following partner companies: Rostov Regional Department of the All-Russian Creative Public Organization “Russian Artists Association", Rostov Regional Department of the International Union of Teachers-Artists, Rostov Regional Department of the All-Russian Public Organization “Creative Union of Russian Artists".
