Purpose of this educational program
The program is aimed at students who want to link their professional activities with work as a psychologist or a personnel management manager in law enforcement agencies or civil organizations in the field of economics, public and municipal administration.
Currently, there is an increasing demand for psychologists and managers who are able to solve problems that make up the content of psychology, legal psychology and military psychology, organizational psychology and management psychology. SFedU trains these specialists within the framework of the psychological division of the Institute.

- Students' participation: in cultural, sports and volunteer events held at the university, city and region level; in monitoring, fundamental and applied research, in the activities of scientific and educational laboratories, in initiative and grant projects carried out by research scientific collectives of scientists and teachers of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Southern Federal University, in student scientific societies, the work of summer and winter schools, etc.; in scientific conferences, including Lomonosov Annual conference, Science Week of SFedU, in cooperation with the Coordinating Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Rostov region on psychological support of work with personnel of bodies, divisions, institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia; in academic mobility programs, scholarship and grant competitions, research conferences and seminars, etc.; in the student psychological volunteer detachment "For the sake of the Future", created on the basis of the Southern branch of the Federal State Institution "Center for Emergency Psychological Assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia"; in field classes (for 2-4 courses) on mountain training (trekking, orienteering and climbing classes, mini-climbing, cross-country quests), contributing to the strengthening of physical and psychological fitness, endurance and resilience of future specialists; in the volunteer movement (for example, the project "We are together"); in the events of scientific and a practical spheres (film club, popular science discussion clubs operating on the basis of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy).
