                                                         Purpose of this educational program

Training of professionals who are able to work successfully in the field of easel painting and related fields of activity, who have deeply assimilated the experience of the national academic art school and the world of fine art, who have a high level of artistic culture; creating favorable conditions for the disclosure of essential forces and personal self-realization of students in the field of fine art.

The concept of the main educational program is the training of a highly qualified specialist, creatively thinking, adapted to changing conditions and in demand in the labor market, corresponding to the humanistic needs of society.

The educational program is interdisciplinary in nature and is aimed at giving students a serious academic education in the field of fine arts, including in-depth study of basic professional disciplines, such as the history of domestic and foreign art, drawing, painting, composition, technique and technology of graphic materials, etc.

The undoubted advantage of the specialty is its implementation within the framework of a six-year specialty, which allows students to get a full higher education.
  • Classes are conducted by seven Honored Artists of the Russian Federation, one Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, one full member (academician) of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA), two corresponding members of the RAA, one honorary member of the RAA, five teachers with academic degrees in the profile of teaching fine disciplines; the vast majority of teachers are members of the Union of Artists Russia. Furthermore, many teachers are winners of awards from the Academy of Arts.
  • Over the years, a unique method of teaching painting, drawing and composition has been developed and perfected, which allows within a few years of training to acquire deep knowledge in the field of fine arts and master the heights of professional skill.

  1. Acquisition of the qualification of "artist-painter" and the opportunity to become members of the Union of Artists of Russia and are active in exhibition activities.
  2. The opportunity to become teachers of the Academy of Architecture and Arts of the Southern Federal University, the South Russian Humanitarian Institute and the Rostov State Art College named after M.B. Grekov.
  3. Entrepreneurial activity for the sale of products of artistic creativity through the design of its activities in the form of an individual entrepreneur.
  4. ​​​​​​​A candidate can work on various profiles depending upon the area of his specialisation, which is as follows- Commercial Artist, Muralist, Visiting Artist, Painting Engineer, Painter, Interior Designer, Comics artist, Teacher, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Art Restoration specialist and Arts Administrator.
