04.05.01 Fundamental and Applied Chemistry

Program length: 5 years (Full-time mode)

Language of study: Russian

Place of study: Rostov-on-Don

Purpose of this educational program

The basic educational program is aimed at training students with high-quality fundamental and professional knowledge in the field of chemistry, who will be competitive in the labor market, and who as well will be able to successfully solve professional tasks in the research field. Graduates will be able to successfully engage in research and teaching activities in any field of chemistry, work in chemical industries and in business structures as a highly qualified specialists and experts in the field of chemistry, computer and nanotechnology.

The program uses productive educational technologies in the learning process that implement an activity-based approach in education. The following methods will be used in the preparation of students: project and modular training, interactive methods and forms of educational process organization, information technologies, sign-contextual learning, and case technology. The program provides study of a pedagogical module that ensures obtaining pedagogical qualification. This program also creates conditions for the realization of students scientific potential in the learning process by attracting them to work in existing student research laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry with the prospect of participating in grants, conferences, internships, etc.
