Purpose of this educational program

The program is aimed at training students to obtain Bachelors degree in environmental safety and labor safety. These professions are in demand in industrial enterprises and companies of all forms of ownership, as well as in specialized organizations.

Graduates of the program will be competent in the following areas:

• ensuring compliance with labor protection requirements,
• assessing occupational risks at production,
• conducting environmental analysis of projects for modernization of existing production facilities and new technologies being created,
• determination of causes and elimination of consequences of accidental discharges of pollutants into the environment and a number of other professional tasks.

Graduates of the program will be well oriented in related fields of activity, will be able to actively apply digital technologies and also will have social and professional mobility.

In addition to obtaining fundamental knowledge in the field of engineering and technospheric safety, students will have the opportunity:

1. 1. to pass an exciting laboratory workshop on chemistry, physics, life safety and professional disciplines;
   2. to gain additional knowledge of modern information technologies in professional activities: from application programs for environmental engineers and occupational safety specialists to the use of artificial intelligence methods in data analysis and processing;
   3. to participate in project activities starting from the first course on case-tasks from employers;
   4. to engage in actual scientific research within the framework of existing projects of scientific funds;
   5. to conduct engineering and environmental surveys on real objects of economy;
   6. to undergo practical training at the leading enterprises of the region;
   7. to lead an active student life, taking part in sports competitions, cultural events and environmental campaigns.
