21.09.2017

The delegation of Oxford Russia Fund visited Southern Federal University on September 15.

The fellowship program is being implemented at SFedU since 2007. For the duration of the program 2,343 undergraduate and graduate students became the scholarship holders, more than 280 students received financial support for participation in conferences and schools.

At a meeting with the University rector it was noted that SFedUfellowship quota  is one of the largest allocated to Russian universities, which indicates the interest to the program andachieved by students results. As stressed by Alastair Tulloch - Secretary and Trustee of Oxford Russia Fund, it is necessary to attract more attention of students to the contest:
- Obtaining a scholarship from the Oxford Foundation should be prestigious and important for the future of students. If the student has received such a scholarship - it means that he is worthy, that this will affect his future, and his employment.

The delegation also met with the heads of the SFedU training departments participating in the implementation of the scholarship program and held a presentation on the possibilities of supporting the second education in Oxford.
