An international scientific conference on the topic of “The Role of Greeks in the History of Russia” was held in Taganrog, Russia, on the weekend of June 10-11. Distinguished scientists from Greece and Russia, who have dealt extensively with the history of the Greeks in Russia, were in attendance.

Among the reporters were Andrey Rapich, head of the chair and Alexey Bailov, associate professor (Chair for Sociology, History and Political Science) who gave a talk on historical memory of Russian Greeks and relevance of oral history.
