The Institute of Nanotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation and the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control presented the production "Dasha the Pathfinder: The Last Journey" at the Student Spring 2024 festival

14.03.2024

On March 13, Taganrog students demonstrated their talents in acting and choreography, music and vocals at the Regional House of Folk Art in Rostov-on-Don.

The basis for the production was the animated film "Dasha the Traveler". The cartoon was created as an educational computer game and is very popular all over the world. Over the years, hundreds of episodes of the cartoon have been released. The main characters of the series are a seven–year-old girl Dasha and her friends.

Work on the production went on for a month and a half. About 80 participants were involved in the exciting "stage journey".

According to the plot, the uncompromising and tough detective Dasha Pathfinder, together with colleagues Bashmakova, the Crook and the Map, investigates the most difficult cases.  No criminal escapes responsibility. As in the cartoon, there is an element of learning in the production – Dasha introduces her wards to the intricacies of the investigation, and the Map shows the further route.

In addition to the unfolding storyline, modern popular songs and retro hits sounded from the stage, spectacular choreographic numbers fascinated with their expression and plasticity, lyrical digressions about stars and love made you think, and sharp jokes caused friendly laughter.

An hour and a half of this fascinating creative adventure flew by unnoticed. In the finale, the audience thanked the actors with loud applause and friendly shouts: "Taganrog!"

The next performance of Taganrog residents within the framework of the "Student Spring" will take place on April 6.  The Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security and the Institute of Management in Economic, Environmental and Social Systems will present a joint production entitled "Crime and Punishment" on the stage of the Regional House of Folk Art.
