On March 22, the student spring of the SFedU Academy of Physical Culture and Sports took place on the stage. The students transferred to our days the plot of the fairy tale "Pinocchio", where Carlo's Dad is not an organ grinder, but a scientist, and his son is not a wooden doll, but a cyborg.
Feeling the love of family and friends, even artificial intelligence in a mechanical body can acquire humanity, and indulging its greed and malice, even a living person can lose everything human in himself — this was the concert of the Academy of Physical Culture and Sports of the Southern Federal University within the framework of the Student Spring festival of SFedU 2024.
The confrontation between a team of circus artists, among whom the robot Pinocchio found friends, and the insidious oligarch Karabasov, who enlisted the help of scammers Bazilyev and Alisova, will be remembered by the audience for a long time, primarily with dance and acrobatic performances of the highest level. Athletes and athletes of the Southern Federal University demonstrated to the audience both the wonders of physical fitness, as well as plasticity and musicality, which was especially noted by the jury members.
Elena Kapustina, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Master of Sports in sports aerobics, winner of the World and European Championships, judge of the international FIG category, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture of the SFedU Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, was the director of several numbers of the original genre with tricks from rhythmic gymnastics and acrobatics. Elena Vladimirovna also played on stage herself in a humorous sketch.
Other strengths of the Academy of Physical Culture and Sports studio are humor and the "rebelliousness" of the directors. The actors broke the fourth wall, joked directly into the hall, voiced which number the transition was going to. The changes also affected the key points of the fairy tale: the golden key became the key to the program written by the programmer Tortilla, and the modernized Basilio and Alice presented themselves to their victims by the bank's security service.
The Academy of Physical Culture and Sports student Valeria Motorina, who played the role of Alice Lisova, said that jokes often got into the script, invented right at rehearsals, and the whole student spring was born from live student communication.
The audience came out of the concert laughing and singing a rock version of the song "Pinocchio".
