From March 1 to March 7, the Sirius Federal Territory hosted the World Youth Festival, which brought together 25,000 participants from all over the world.
More than thirty students of the Southern Federal University became participants and volunteers of the largest youth event of the year – the World Youth Festival. Educational lectures and events from the Marathon of Knowledge took place at the Festival.Firsts" with star speakers, concert programs and much more.
The festival program was built around the development of international youth cooperation and universal values. The participants were given the opportunity to reflect on them together and exchange ideas on how to build a future world on this basis, in which everyone will be comfortable. The events of the festival were united by a common concept, and each day corresponded to one of the "meanings": "Responsibility for the fate of the world", "Multinational unity", "A world of opportunities for everyone", "Let's save the family in the name of children and peace", "We are together with Russia".
Besides the participants and volunteers, the ambassadors were present at the Festival. One of them was Angelina Litvinenko, a 2nd-year undergraduate student at the Captains Faculty of Business, a member of the Academic Council of the SFedU.
