Prof. Dr. Dipak Raj Pant, anthropologist and economist, was the founder of the Interdisciplinary Unit for Sustainable Economy at LIUC University (Castellanza, Varese, Italy), the first centre for sustainable economic studies in Italy which he coordinated as founding director from its beginning in 2000 till its merger within the newly established LIUC Business School in 2017. He was also the co-founder of NHU Sustainability Center at the Nan Hua University of Taiwan in 2016.

Prof. Pant has a long experience as university professor, as consultant/advisor for development planning and as trainer to entrepreneurs and senior executives of governmental, business and charitable organizations (NGOs) in many countries around the world. Author of few books, reports and articles, Prof. Pant also serves in the editorial boards of scientific periodicals.
