Henan University also hosted a meeting organized by SFedU long-time partner, President of the Russian-Chinese Foundation for the Development of Education and Science Cui Shan, with Vice-rector of Henan University Zhang Ligan, Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation Shan Jin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Eurasian International Institute Liu Jiaming, as well as the management and teams of structural units involved in the implementation of joint from the SFedU educational programs.

The parties discussed the results and development of the project of three joint bachelor's degree programs in the fields of graphic design, interior design and philology. As a result of the meeting, SFedU and Henan University agreed to launch in 2025 a program of academic mobility of students and teachers of Henan University in the format of a summer school and professional internship at SFedU, to ensure the integration of learning content through joint student project activities, buddy programs, and to test the format of double diplomas for Russian philology students.

Also during the meeting, it was possible to discuss the development of the concept of continuous training "from bachelor's degree to internship assistant" in the field of Design, the design of new joint programs in the field of digital design, BIM technologies in architecture and urban planning, as well as master's programs of double diplomas in translation and translation studies (Chinese and Russian) for mutual exchange students.

In addition, the parties agreed to form a working group to develop a concept and roadmap for the creation of a joint institute based on Henan University for effective management of programs, quality of education, including language training, as well as scientific projects.

Maxim Bondarev, Vice-Rector of SFedU, thanked Ms. Cui Shan, the management and staff of Henan University for many years of fruitful cooperation, and also expressed confidence in the success of the initiatives discussed during the meeting. Vice-Rector of Henan University, Mr. Zhang Ligan, in turn, stressed the effectiveness of the partnership and expressed high interest in expanding cooperation in the direction of joint research and institutionalization of projects in a joint structural unit based on Henan University.

The delegation of the Southern Federal University also visited the Puyang Vocational Technical Institute, where a meeting was held with Deputy Secretary of the Party, Rector Sun Aili, Vice-Rector Liu Zhen, head of the International Cooperation Department Zhang Zhonglin, Director of the Faculty of Humanities Liu Jun.

At the meeting, they discussed the progress and features of the first year of implementation of the project of a joint educational program in the direction 44.03.01 "Primary education" on the basis of a Chinese university with the leadership of the institute, and also held a traditional annual meeting with teachers and students of the joint program.

Maxim Bondarev thanked the staff of the Puyang Vocational Institute and the Southern Federal University who train students in China, and stressed the special importance of the Russian language as the main means of teaching and educational communication within the framework of the program. Mr. Liu Zheng and Song Chenxi shared with the first-year students effective ways of learning a foreign language and personal experience of preparing for study abroad.

Representatives of the SFedU invited the teams of partner universities to pay a return visit to the SFedU as part of the solemn celebration of the 110th anniversary of the university in 2025.
