Speech Etiquette
The course touches upon the problem of interrelation between the notions of speech etiquette and register/style. The speech etiquette includes stylistics as much as it deals with the correspondence of speech to stylistic criteria, provides the criteria of speech correctness from the point of view of communicative intention.
-
Academic writing
The course deals with teaching how to write scientific articles. Scientific research articles provide a method for scientists to communicate with other scientists about the results of their research. Writing is a way of disseminating or sharing the results of research; it allows you to share your discovery with the rest of the world. A standard format is used for these articles, in which the author presents the research in an orderly, logical manner.
