The seminar, organized by the Mathematics Department of the University of Perugia (Università degli Studi di Perugia), featured presentations on the latest research in functional analysis and partial differential equations. In particular, Alexey Karapetyants gave a lecture on a new approach to the agrandization of spaces used in solving problems of mathematical physics. This theme resonates with

the research of Italian colleagues, however, the proposed approach is original and new. Vladislav Kravchenko presented to the audience an effective method he had developed for solving inverse coefficient problems. Following the meetings, the participants discussed areas of possible scientific cooperation.
