Professor from Armenia spoke at the SFedU mathematical seminar

03.11.2023

On November 2, a lecture by Armen Jrbashyan, Professor of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Russia, was held within the framework of the regular scientific seminar of the RSC SFedU. The leaders of the seminar are Professors A.N. Karapetyants and V.V. Kravchenko.

Armen Mkhitarovich is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, as well as Professor at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Antioquia, Colombia. His research interests lie in the field of complex analysis, fractional calculus and operator theory, or rather in the construction of some new weighted spaces in a sense of regular functions in canonical domains of the complex plane, namely the most general, omega-weighted classes and Banach or Hilbert spaces of holomorphic, harmonic, subharmonic and delta-subharmonic functions on a disk, a half-plane and a finite complex plane, and the study of their properties.

On November 2, Professor Jrbashyan gave a lecture on the theory of omega-bounded type functions at the seminar of the RSC SFedU. He presented a general theory of holomorphic, harmonic, delta-subharmonic functions of omega-bounded type in various canonical domains of the complex plane. As special cases, well-known spaces and many classical results of R. Nevanlinna etc. were included in the theory.

The seminar "Seminar on Analysis, Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics" was attended by more than forty mathematicians - specialists from leading scientific and educational centers of the world in Russia and other countries, including graduate students and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of SFedU and young scientists.

Online scientific seminar of the Regional Scientific and Educational Mathematical Center (https://rmc.sfedu.ru /) is held regularly every two weeks, announcements of new seminars and videos of previous seminars are available on the website http://msrn.sfedu.ru/sl .

The seminar is attended by leading researchers from around the world whose research interests are related to analysis, differential equations and mathematical physics. The scientific seminar of the mathematical center is open, everyone can take part in it.
