The event was held within the framework of the Development Program and with the financial support of the Regional Scientific and Educational Mathematical Center of the Southern Federal University (RNOMC of the Southern Federal University, Agreement of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 075-02-2024-1427 dated February 28, 2024), as well as with the support of the Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences of the Southern Federal University.

The conference-symposium was held in a face-to-face and remote format. Most of the lectures and reports on various areas of modern mathematics were held in person in the village of Shirokaya Balka.

The work within the framework of the conference was conducted in 10 sections. Scientists from leading universities of the country (MPSU, St. Petersburg State University, Moscow State University, SFedU, RUDN and others) and the Republic of Belarus made presentations at the conference.

The participants of the event were scientists from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Grozny, Samara, Saratov, Veliky Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Kazan, Magas, Voronezh, Ryazan, Minsk, Grodno and Gomel.

During the conference, the fundamental problems of modern mathematics and their applications to economics, ecology, and natural sciences were considered, and aspects of modern education were studied, without which it is impossible to solve these problems.

The participants of the conference-symposium were keenly interested in the round tables held on the topics "On one problem of (linear) algebra" (moderator - S.M. Huseyn-Zadeh, professor of Moscow State University) and "Modern problems of Education" (moderator - L.N.Udovenko, associate Professor of Moscow State University).
