He graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Oryol State pedagogical Institute. Studied with people's artist of USSR, academician of the Academy of ARTS A. I. Kurnakov, people's artist of Russia G. D., Kalmakhelidze. Works in pastels, oil painting. Prefers landscape, thematic composition. Professor, Department of fine arts of southern Federal University pedagogical Institute. Lives and works in Rostov-on-don. Participant of regional, zonal, Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1974.
He was awarded the Badge "Honorary worker of Higher Professional education of Russia", Diploma of Ministry of education of Russia for participation in the national exhibition of works of fine art; Diploma of artists Union of Russia for a series of watercolors on the IZH Biennale of contemporary realist art; diploma of the Ministry of Education and science of the Russian Federation, Diploma of the artists Union of Russia; Diploma of the southern regional branch of the Russian Academy of Arts; the gold medal of the Union of Artists of Russia.
