Research interests:

Senior lecturer of English language Department for the humanitarian faculties of the Institute of philology, journalism and cross-cultural communication.

In 2010 defended the dissertation " The pragmatic peculiarities of the speech act in the functions of initiating remark in  informal interviews". The author of 59 publications, of which 21 educational publications and 38 scientific works  including the monograph " Speech genre of informal interviews. The pragmatic tendencies of functioning in modern print media”.The General experience of scientific and pedagogical work of 30 years.

Research interests: pragmatic peculiarities of the speech act in the function of the initiating rremark in informal interviews (based on the English press);  exploring the relationships between constative speech act and dialogue text in the communicative situation of the informal interviews;  the semantic-grammatical and communicative-pragmatic peculiarities of  constatives initiating remarks in an informal interview ( research based on English and American journals); emotional variability of spontaneous dialogue speech in informal interviews.  

Research projects:

Participated in the development of innovative programme "Modernization of the process of learning a foreign language expert of the new generation.(competence approach) in the development of the electronic textbook "global grammar guide".

Participated in grant "Development and implementation of innovative programs of additional education : Interpreter in the sphere of professional communication"

Teaching:

  • "English as a foreign Language"
    This course is aimed at the formation and improvement of foreign language competence, which is expressed in the foreign language in written and oral form for communication in the professional and socio-cultural spheres of communication.
  • “The Language of the specialization region( English)"
    This discipline is closely connected with such professional disciplines as "History of the South of Russia", "Culture, religion and literature of the peoples of the South of Russia", "Regional economy", "Regional policy". This discipline more thoroughly describes the principles of work of the specialist in the field of regional studies information sources and generates the idea of goal setting, opportunities, and methods of summarizing information from a number of sources, comparison and analysis
  • “English as the language of business communication"
    The main purpose of the proposed course is to develop professional skills of foreign language proficiency in written and oral form for communication in the professional and socio-cultural spheres, translation skills from English into Russian and from Russian into English, drafting business correspondence in English; to acquaint with the information on business communication, its structure, types and content, the basic techniques of negotiation, negotiation strategies.
  • Lecture course: "Cultural semantic traps in Anglo-Russian and Russian- Anglo communication".
    Objectives of the course include developing students ' skills translation of texts on professional topics from English to Russian and from Russian into English, the ability to recognize different cultural semantic traps and find ways to correct language skills, culture of social and interpersonal dialogue in a multicultural society; the observance of principles and norms of tolerant attitude towards representatives of other ethnic and cultural traditions, religious and political backgrounds; ability to formulate and solve the communicative tasks in all areas of communication.
  • Gender relations in youth circles( lecture in English)
    The course deals with discussion urgent topics connected with family relations in modern conditions; role of family,its types and functions; problems of young people;role of women in different spheres of life. The course is aimed at students studying "Sociology"
  • Communicative conflict management ( lectures in English)
    The course is aimed at students studying "Conflictology". It coversdifferent types of conflicts in management, the reasons of conflicts and coping with them.
