Research interests:
In 1982 graduated from the Rostov state engineering institute, majoring in Architecture. Along with studies from 1969 worked in the Rostov PromstroyNIIproekt in the position of draftsman-designer, senior technician-architect and architect (OSP-4, Department of experimental design the Scientific part of the Rostov PSP). In 1982 appointed to the position of assistant Professor of urban planning Rostov state engineering institute (head. Department Y. A. Rebain). In 1996 promoted to the rank of associate Professor. From 1997 to 2002 - Deputy of Rostov-on-Don city Chief architect in designing and development and Rostov-on-Don city Chief painter (artist) of the city (1999 - 2002) without departing from the teaching. 2002-present - Professor, Department of design of architectural environment, AAI, Southern Federal University. 2016 Professor, Department of History of architecture and Architectural renovation of AAI SFU. In parallel with teaching is engaged in design practice. As the architet was projected and built a number of large public and residential buildings in Rostov-on-don and Rostov region. (Hunter's house in the Veshensky stanitsa, Shopping and community centre "Aphrodite", academic building South-Russian Humanitarian Institute, the Chief architect of the office center "Five seas", few residential houses on the street Socialist, and the First Soviet, the Chief architect of the project of reconstruction of the SFU's central kitchen fabric on the Zorge street and a number of private residences in Rostov-on-don. Area of scientific interests - History of modern architecture. 2010 - 2012, was published the two parts of the textbook "Modern problems of architecture" (Part 1 of "Space" and Part 2 "Architecture as a derivative of inter-tier interactions") forthcoming monograph "Romanticism as a basis of eclecticism and art Nouveau". 2016 develops educational site "archialexeev.ru" devoted to the basic Sciences of history readed by me in AAI SFU.
