Research interests:

General Relativity and Cosmology, Quantun Field Theory and Quantum Gravity

The main topic of research is construction of mathematically consistent quantum theory of gravity. The investigations in this trend were started in the works made in collaboration with G. M. Vereshkov and V. A. Savchenko in the end of 1990s. In these works an original approach to constructing quantum theory of gravity was proposed. As a result of scientific discussions at a number of international conferences, the approach has been recognized by gravitational community.

In collaboration with G. M. Vereshkov and V. A. Savchenko a new approach to constructing quantum geometrodynamics has been proposed. The approach was called "quantum geometrodynamics in extended phase space"
