Member of the federal project of the Russian Academy of Sciences No. 01.89.0008435 "Lexical Atlas of Russian Folk Dialects" Institute of Slavic and Balkan Studies RAS (Moscow) - Institute for Linguistic Research RAS (St. Petersburg) (author-compiler of 12 Atlas maps).

Dialectology and Ethnolinguistics
The course deals with territory-specific varieties of the Russian language; specific features of phonetic, lexical and grammatical organization of Russian sub-dialects; particular characteristics of the regional intellectual culture as represented in the language of sub-dialect speakers.

A brief development history of Latin, with focus on the major aspects of Latin phonetics, vocabulary and grammar.

Introduction to Project-Based Learning
The course is designed to introduce students to the defining characteristics of philological research, contemporary theories of the origins of language, techniques employed in the course of philological analysis of the text. The course trains students to work in teams and teaches the skills indispensable for teamwork.
