Сomparative analyses of different aspects of Germany’s image on the pages of encyclopedic magazines “Moscow telegraph”, “Telescope” and “Library for reading”. The methods of creating the country’s image and transformation of stable national stereotypes are analyzed. Special attention is given to studying the correlation between philosophical-aesthetic views of N. Polevoy, Nikolai Nadezhdin, O. Senkovsky and the peculiarities of his publications on German topics in the observable magazines.
