Demography
The purpose of the course "Demography" is to future specialists-sociologists were able to perceive the demographic situation in the country and the world in General, to form students ' knowledge of the basic theory of population, ability to analyze and predict the complex demographic processes in modern conditions.

Gender sociology
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic concepts, approaches and directions of gender sociology from the point of view of historical and contemporary perspectives in the West and in Russia; as well as developing the use of gender theory and methodology for research in the Humanities and social Sciences.

Sociology of everyday life
Course objectives: consider the ideological and theoretical origins and the history of the sociology of everyday life; to reveal the basic concepts of the discipline; to introduce methodological bases and instruments of sociological research of everyday life; to examine methods of hermeneutics in the understanding of sociology; to form an idea about the practice of using the theory of everyday life in the new social reality.

Ethnosociology
The aim of the course is a generalization and systematization of scientific-theoretical bases of ethnic relations and practical tasks relating to inter-ethnic relations.
