In April 2014, L.M. Mesropyan defended her dissertation on the topic «Speech aggressive manipulation in the juridical linguistic aspect».

Forensic Linguistics.
The discipline is aimed at forming in the students the expert competence in the sphere of forensic linguistic expertise of conflictogenic texts, grasping the main methods and approaches of linguistic research connected with the identity identification.

Linguistic manipulation and speech manipulation.
The main types of linguistic manipulation, methods of the suggestological analysis of manipulative speech are examined; basic approaches of communicative aikido are mastered.

Juridical linguistics.
Discipline reveals issues at the interface of language and law, touches upon the issues of primary and secondary legalization of speech activity, defines the basic concepts of legal science as a science.

The translation and interpretation in the professional sphere: juridical linguistic aspect.
Discipline teaches students the activities of a forensic translator, reveals the details of the organization of judicial translation and linguistic support for the activities of law enforcement agencies, reveals the specificity of the rights and obligations of the parties involved in the judicial translation.
