  • Doctrine of mineral resources
    Specialty 21.05.02 Applied Geology. Objective: Collecting information by students about general mineral deposits formation principles according to development of Earth's crust. Tasks aimed to develop following professional competences: creation of geological and genetic complex models of mineral deposits; geological reports preparation, scientific research publications reviews.
  • Math modeling methods in geology
    Specialty 21.05.02. Applied Geology. Objective: introduction to possibilities of application of mathematical methods in geology. Tasks aimed to develop following professional competences: knowledge of modern methods of processing, systematization and interpretation of geological data, including computer software.
  • Ore fields and mineral deposits structures
    Specialty 21.05.02. Applied Geology. Objective: introduction to theoretical foundations of the structural analysis, understanding of typical geo-structural ore fields positions, deposits of ore bodies of various grades and industrial groups. Tasks aimed to obtain the following professional competences: formulation of favorable criteria for mineral deposit detection and selection of promising areas for geological exploration works.
  • Industrial types of mineral deposits. Section “Metallic ore deposit"
    Specialty 21.05.02. Applied Geology. Objective: introduction to main types of ores and industrial types of metallic mineral deposits. Tasks aimed to obtain the following professional competences: be able to predict a type of industrial mineral deposit, formulate favorable criteria for localization of mineral and highlight promising areas for geological exploration.
  • Ore petrography
    Specialty 21.05.02. Applied Geology. Bachelor Educational Program 05.02.01. Geology. Objective: microscopic petrography studies of ore minerals and ore associations.
  • Mining geology
    Bachelor Educational Program 05.03.01. Geology. Objective: Collecting information by students about general mineral deposits formation principles according to development of Earth's crust. This academic discipline carrying out following tasks of professional activities: participation in field geological studies, scientific and technical reports, overviews, publications in geology of mineral deposits subjects.
