Research interests:

2000 - graduation from the Rostov State Pedagogical University (honors degree)

2004 - Ph.D. defence "Speech Behaviour and Speech Activity of Natives of the German Language (on a material idiom in a speech genre detective)" (speciality 10.02.04. - German languages), Pyatigorsk, PGLU.

Sphere of scientific interests: pragmalinguistics, discourse, speech stereotypes, national and cultural specifics of speech activity, phraseology.

Teaching disciplines: practice of oral and written speech of the German language; German lexicology; History of German.


Associate Professor E.I. Petrova successfully carries out teaching, methodological and research activities, takes an active part in the organisation of events and projects of the Department of German Philology. 

Associate Professor E.I. Petrova is a licensed expert of ÖSD, the chairman of the examination commission for German language ÖSD (Austrian Language Diploma); a member of the commission for the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in German language.

Published: 50 works (a chapter in a monograph; 41 articles, including 12 articles in publications from the "list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation", 1 Scopus article, 8 teaching aids); 2019-2023 - 8 works (including 5 articles from the "list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation", 1 Scopus article, 2 teaching aids).
