  • Data Bases
Much of the world's data resides in databases. SQL (or Structured Query Language) is a powerful language which is used for communicating with and extracting data from databases. A working knowledge of databases and SQL is a must if you want to become a data scientist. The purpose of this course is to introduce relational database concepts and help you learn and apply knowledge of the SQL language. It is also intended to get you started with performing SQL access in a data science environment.
  • Distributed applications
This course teaches learners (industry professionals and students) the fundamental concepts of Distributed Programming. Distributed programming enables developers to use multiple nodes in a data center to increase throughput and/or reduce latency of selected applications.
  • Operating Systems
This course teaches the basic operating system abstractions, mechanisms, and their implementations.
  • Information Security
In this course you will explore information security through some introductory material and gain an appreciation of the scope and context around the subject. This includes a brief introduction to cryptography, security management and network and computer security.
