General microbiology, soil microbiology, in particular the structure and functioning of microbial communities under anthropogenic impact, especially of urban origin.

Plant-microbial interactions in rhizospere.

Bacteriophages of soil bacteria for screening and identification.

Antagonistic and symbiotic interactions between soil bacteria.

  A special course dedicated to the use of bacteria for manufacturing different products, focusing on food products.
• Bioinformation analysis and computer methods in biology
  A joint course, the part is dedicated to web-searching of scientific data.
• Soil microbiology
  A special course dealing with biology of soil microorganisms and their role in ecosystems.
• Antibiotics
  A special course dealing with the different griups, classification, chemical structure, mechanisms of action of the antibiotics, as well as antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
• Genetics of bacteria
  A special course dedicated to the genetics of procaryotic organisms
