The field of scientific interests is related to the development of practical techniques for the directed synthesis of new photo- and magnetoactive coordination compounds. Also, the development and practical adaptation of new quantum-chemical approaches to the prediction and interpretation of photochemical, fluorescent properties and magnetic exchange in systems with a limited number of paramagnetic centers (mono- and binuclear complexes) and their extrapolation to directed macrosystems are also being developed.
