Architectural and engineering structures
The purpose of mastering the discipline "Architectural and engineering structures" is to teach students to understand the meaning of the structure of the skeleton of a building or structure as a reflection and understanding of the idea of architectural design. The study of the discipline is aimed at acquiring competencies in the field of theoretical and methodological foundations, principles and methods for developing modern space-planning and design solutions, as well as the applied application of the knowledge gained in the process of solving practical problems, such as identifying the relationship between design and form, the ability to analyze historical and modern tectonic systems.

Modern architectural structures and engineering equipment
The objectives of mastering the discipline "Modern architectural structures and engineering equipment" are the study of the principles of modeling and combining the main structural schemes of buildings and structures in modern conditions of multifunctionality, versatility and variability of the functional purpose of architectural spaces; development of general principles and methods for designing rational structural systems that have the necessary resistance to external and internal forces and influences and at the same time meet the aesthetic intent of the architect; schemes, means and methods for implementing the design process and other determinants, which are also included in the further course of the design process as new internal conditions; formation of students' system of knowledge, skills and abilities in mastering methods for solving design architectural problems, taking into account modern requirements in the field of energy-efficient technologies and equipping buildings with engineering and technical support systems. As a result of studying the discipline, undergraduates will learn to identify the possibilities of synthesizing modern space-planning solutions, a constructive system and economic feasibility in the formation of architectural compositions of designed objects.
