Teaching:

  • Industrial ecology
The purpose of mastering the discipline "Industrial ecology" is to study the environmental strategy and policy of production development, as well as the characteristic environmental problems of production and ways to solve them. Tasks: as a result of mastering the discipline, students must have the skills of the technogenic impact of industrial enterprises, and also know: - the pattern of development and functioning of industrial enterprises; - methods for controlling the technological load and protecting the environment from the effects of industrial waste; - the main methods of processing and using production and consumption waste; - environmental strategy and directions of development and the policy of creating fundamentally new industrial production.
  • Reliability of technical systems and technogenic risk
"Reliability of technical systems and man-made risk" is a course that examines methods for analyzing the reliability and safety of simple and complex systems, methods and techniques for assessing and managing risks associated with the operation of industrial systems that pose a threat to humans and the environment, and also considers main sources and statistics of accidents and disasters. Teaching the discipline "Reliability of technical systems and man-made risk" is aimed at teaching future engineers the basic principles of the theory of reliability of technical systems and structures and to teach how to assess the reliability and man-made risk of construction and modernization of technical systems and structures.
  • Industrial practice (research work per semester)
The purpose of the research work is to develop undergraduates' skills in applying modern research methods and working with modern analytical instruments to ensure technospheric safety, as well as to develop creative research thinking among undergraduates, which allows them to successfully solve complex scientific and technical problems in the field of technospheric security systems, such as individually and in a professionally united group. The skills acquired by undergraduates during this practice make it possible to consolidate the knowledge gained, as well as collect materials for the completion of the final qualifying work in the chosen direction of training.
