  The purpose of the discipline is to prepare a graduate who possesses ways to maintain systems, facilities and communication complexes, computers, automated information processing and control systems in readiness for their intended use, timely recovery of them in case of damage and failure. The objectives of the discipline are: studying and obtaining practical skills in maintaining the required level of technical readiness of systems, communications facilities and complexes, computers, automated information processing and management systems; Studying of organizational, technical and legal norms and rules of technical support of communication and automation in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
