Research area
The research focuses on the toxic effects of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) and explores bioaccumulation, biotransformations, uptake, translocation, and their impact on various aspects of plant biology. This includes plant physiology, biochemistry, morphology, anatomy, the ultrastructure of cellular and subcellular organelles, cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and molecular studies related to the plant's sensing and responses to these pollutants at the genetic level and their regulatory mechanisms.
