Three students of the Southern Federal University successfully passed the competitive selection and became participants in the special project "Student Tourism Ambassadors" implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The program has received the status of media ambassadors:
Darina Duisembieva (Institute of Tourism, Service and Creative Industries);
Polina Fofilova (Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication).

The program of youth and student tourism "Studtourism" has been implemented since 2021 in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation. Today, 271 partner universities in 128 Russian cities are connected to it, and the number of registered users of the platform has exceeded 65 thousand people. The program allows students and young professionals from 18 to 35 years old to travel around the country, staying in dormitories at partner universities at affordable prices.
The selection of ambassadors and media ambassadors is a serious test. For example, in 2025, 647 people participated in the competition, but only 256 became part of the community (including 141 ambassadors, 99 media ambassadors, and 16 mentors).
The program's ambassadors work with students "live": they make presentations at universities, talk about the possibilities of "Student Tourism", and help organize excursions and local events. Media ambassadors promote the program through social media: they make videos, write posts, and collect stories about trips, people, and places that you want to discover.
