On March 13, the Rostov-on-Don Regional House of Folk Art hosted a bright performance from students of two departments of the Institute of Management in Economic, Environmental and Social Systems, as well as the Institute of Nanotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation. We have prepared a story about a girl Masha, who is not afraid to dream
The plot revolves around the pupil of orphanage No. 13, the restless dreamer Masha. She lives in a world of ideas and boldly shares them with others. Her main ally is her best friend Vanya, who always supports her and helps her realize her wildest ideas. However, the usual life collapses when Vanya is decided to adopt. For Masha, it becomes a real shock and feels like the end of the whole world.

After the separation, the heroine is faced not only with misunderstandings from her peers and the strict attitude of teacher Nadezhda Osipovna, but also with her own thoughts. In one of the key numbers, they become an independent stage image — the second character. These thoughts overwhelm Masha, lead her into the unknown, convincing her to shut herself off from everyone and not let anyone else near her. After all, only Vanya, as it seems to the girl, could truly understand her.
The production culminates in a moment of conflict with Nadezhda Osipovna, who almost convinces Masha that dreaming is harmful. However, the teacher realizes her mistake in time, remembering her own childhood, in which she was also forbidden to feel and dream. In the finale, she decides to become Masha's support and invites her to become a part of her family.

The special atmosphere of the production was given by the sincerity of the acting and the deep emotional involvement of the participants. Arina Golubtsova, a first-year student at the Institute of Nanotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation, who played the main role, shared her impressions:
"When we played the last scene, we already wanted to cry, because we understood that this was the end. The rehearsals had a special vibe — I wanted to come there. Of course, there were moments when the forces were at zero, but the support of the directors helped to move forward. It was difficult for me sometimes to understand the right emotion, especially in scenes of quarrels, but I'm really happy about this experience — now I want to do it even more."

An equally significant part of the production was the modern dance, reflecting Masha's inner struggle with her own feelings. Director Victoria Tarasova noted that the team's serious work was behind the ease of execution:
"We have been preparing very carefully for the screening of the issue! There were funny moments at the rehearsals every minute, but it only helped us to work better and not get tired of training. In the end, the main character did a great job with her thoughts!"
