A team of 4th-year students of the Department of Architectural and Environmental Design of SFedU (department 07.03.01 Architecture) became the winner of the National Student Competition "Landscaping!".
The improvement project of the Alluvium Park in Feodosia, created by the Pereplet team of authors, was recognized as the best among hundreds of applications and awarded the Grand Prix, as well as the main prize of 1 million rubles.
The competition aroused great interest among the professional community: about two thousand student teams from all over the country applied for participation. According to the results of the rigorous selection, only 27 projects reached the finals, and the work of the SFedU students was highly appreciated by experts.
The historical center of Feodosia (Crimea) became the object of design. The customers were the city administrations, which submitted applications for the competition so that young specialists could offer fresh solutions for the development of their territories.

The competition is aimed at finding the best ideas for transforming the urban environment among young architects and urbanists aged 17 to 35 years. Participants go through educational accelerators, learning from the experience of the country's leading experts.
Winning such a competition opens up serious prospects: winning projects receive cash prizes, and the best ideas can be implemented as part of the national Infrastructure for Life project.
The SFedU student team includes Anastasia Bryushkova, Anastasia Kovaleva, Arina Marchenko, Anastasia Matyukha and Anastasia Salnaya. The concept of the Alluvium Park is based on three ideas: the architectural heritage of Ancient Greece and the Republic of Genoa, the unique Crimean nature and the magic of the sea.

"The thread of history stretches through the entire park — fragments of the seabed and reef themes can be seen on the sites. The pavilions are the epitome of Genoa's ancient architecture. The walking trail and the coffee shop area are like soothing sea and nature," says Anastasia Salnaya.
The name "Alluvium" was chosen for a reason. In geology, these are river deposits, "stratifications" of time. For the team, it became a metaphor for the place itself near the walls of the Genoese fortress, where history has been layered for centuries. The project is conceived not as a modern "novelty", but as a dialogue with the past, where each layer of the park is a journey into a new era.
The authors aim to promote "Alluvium" for its real implementation in Crimea. In addition, the students are ready to apply their knowledge to the development of the urban environment of Rostov-on-Don.
"With all the variety of ideas, it is difficult to single out a priority. We will be glad to have the opportunity to work on projects in Rostov-on-Don — and, of course, we hope for their implementation," says a member of the Pereplet team.
According to the students, the main thing is to "live the project" and work together. An important role was also played by the support of mentors — associate professors of the Department of Architectural and Environmental Design at the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts Stanislav Revyakin and Anastasia Sheremet, whose experience helped the team to confidently assert themselves at the federal level.

The girls are currently planning to participate in new professional competitions and work even harder on projects.
