    The SFedU national team became the winner of the Rostov Region Athletics Championship among students

    From March 5 to March 8, the Rostov Region Student Athletics Championship was held at the DSTU sports arena. The Southern Federal University team demonstrated high results and won the third team place, confirming the stable level of training of our athletes.

    In the individual and relay disciplines, 14 representatives of the SFedU distinguished themselves, winning a total of 23 medals of various denominations. According to the results of the competition, the winners were:

    Sofia Ururova — 3 gold medals

    Ksenia Pugolovkina — 2 gold, 1 silver

    Golovina Yana — 2 gold medals

    Artyom Vorobyov — 1 gold, 1 bronze

    Vyacheslav Kiyanov — 1 gold, 1 silver

    Bogdan Abibulaev — 1 gold medal

    Sofia Chernozhukova — 1 gold medal

    Solovyova Anna — 1 gold, 2 bronze

    Lilia Nedelcheva — 2 silver medals

    Maxim Kostryukov — 1 silver, 1 bronze

    Daria Klipachenko — 1 silver medal

    Litvinenko Milos — 3 bronze medals

    Valentin Zastashkov — 1 bronze medal

    Pavel Litvinov — 1 bronze medal

    In the team competition, the Southern Federal University team took 3rd place, losing to rivals from DSTU and NPI.
