Many participants of the competition from the Southern Federal University presented several diverse projects at once and were highly appreciated for their architectural creativity.
The competition for the best project was held in 2022, and the winners were awarded in the spring of 2023.
NOPRIZ President Anvar Shamuzafarov noted the high level of implemented projects and their importance for the development of Russian regions. According to him, for young professionals, participation in competitions is the right way for professional development and formation.
This year, the competition commission paid special attention to the promising use of design and constructive solutions, technologies and materials used by the authors of the submitted projects. During the nine years of the competition's existence, the organizing committee of NOPRIZ has repeatedly noted projects that were innovative and unusual during the years of the competition, and after a while the solutions used in them were widely used in architectural practice.
This year, 1011 applications were submitted for the competition in seven nominations, including 730 applications from students and postgraduates of 64 Russian and 10 foreign universities, young architects.
The authors of the projects and the students who took the first places were awarded diplomas of the winners.
Two students of Rostov-on-Don received first-degree diplomas: for the project "Climatron in Rostov-on-Don", author Maria Klesova (scientific supervisor Irina Shakhova) and the project "Connection of Times" - a cultural and business complex on the Theatrical descent in Rostov-on-Don", author Johann Kravchenko (director Alexey Kovalenko)
Diplomas of the second degree were awarded to nine projects of SFedU students, including the project "Motel for 100 seats "Shell", author Gemma Mkrtchyan (supervisor Anastasia Sheremet), the project "Low-rise residential complex in Azov", author Alina Astafyeva (supervisor Irina Kuleshova), the project "Educational and Scientific Center for gifted children SFedU (SUNC)", author Margarita Kristosturyan (supervisor Irina Kuleshova), project "Reconstruction of a building in a historical building", author Pavel Podorozhko (supervisor Irina Kuleshova), project "Shark House Project", author Daria Ryzhenkova (supervisor Elvira Parfenova), project "House with arches", author Daria Ryzhenkova (supervisor Irina Kuleshova), project "Urban-type settlement", author Gemma Mkrtchyan (supervisor Anastasia Sheremet), project "Multifunctional residential complex", author Pavel Podorozhko (supervisor Irina Shakhova) and project "Reconstruction of a building in a historical building", by Pavel Podorozhko (scientific supervisor Irina Kuleshova).
