In 1987-1990, he studied at the full-time target postgraduate school of Leningrad State University. In 1990, there he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences on the topic "Functional and semantic analysis of phraseology in a popular scientific text".
He has solid experience teaching Russian as a foreign language in Russia (in 1985-1987 and in 1990-1991 at the preparatory faculty of the Rostov Institute of Agricultural Machinery) and abroad (in 1981-1983 in Laos, at a technical school; in 1993-1995 in France, at the Lyceum of Montgeron; in 2001-2005 in France, at the University of Nice). While working in Nice, he collected practical material for a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philology, which he tested at the Sorbonne, giving lectures there to teachers of the Russian language and students studying it. The dissertation "The picture of the world in Russian and French phraseology (on the example of the concept "Human behavior")" for the degree of Doctor of Philology was defended in 2008 at the Southern Federal University in the specialties "theory of language" and "Romance languages".
Author of 127 scientific and educational works (as of 10/27/2023), four of which were published in France and Germany, and two were registered with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Informregister under the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications and the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. Most of his work is research in the field of conceptology, cognitive linguistics, worldview, comparative analysis of lexicology, phraseology of the Russian and French languages, as well as intercultural communication, theory and practice of translation. For the monograph "The picture of the world in Russian and French phraseology (on the example of the concept "Human behavior")" he was awarded a diploma of the laureate of the All-Russian competition for the best scientific book of 2008.
He is invited as an official opponent to defend dissertations for the degree of candidate and Doctor of Philology, prepares reviews from the leading organization on dissertations for the degree of candidate and Doctor of Philology, reviews monographs, graduate master's works. He is engaged in the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, carrying out scientific supervision of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences. Under his scientific supervision, five dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences were defended. He is regularly invited as chairman of the State Examination Commission to other higher education institutions. At the invitation of the Assistant to the Head of the Chechen Republic, the Minister Russian Russian Minister of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information A.M. Dudaev provided the services of an interpreter from French into Russian and from Russian into French at the talks between the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov and the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Oumar Sissok Embalo on May 10-11, 2024 in Grozny. He has a certificate from the International Center for Pedagogical Research (France, Sevres), which gives him the right to take international exams in French DELF (levels A1-B2), is a member of the expert commission under the Ministry of General and Secondary Special Education of the Rostov region for checking written and oral tasks of the Unified State Exam in French, as well as a member of the jury at the regional stage The All-Russian Olympiad in French for schoolchildren.
