Author of more than 250 scientific and educational works (with a total volume of more than 200 author's printed sheets), including 16 monographs (4 of them are author's), 12 textbooks (5 of them are author's), 21 articles indexed in the SCOPUS and Web of Sciencedatabases, 95 articles in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation.

Every year since 2010, he has been the head of research within the framework of grants, research on a contractual basis.

Charaeva M. V. is the winner and laureate of a number of international competitions.

Under the guidance of M. V. Charaeva, in the period 2015-2026г.г, 7 PhD theses were successfully defended in the scientific specialties 08.00.10-Finance, money circulation and credit, 5.2.3-Regional and sectoral Economics: regional economy, 5.2.4-Finance. Currently, there are 4 post - graduate students in the specialty 5.2.4-finance. 

Charaeva M. V. provides recruitment of postgraduate students in the following scientificspecialties: 5.2.4 Finance, 5.2.6 Management, as well as applicants for the scientific specialty 5.2.7-State and Municipal Administration (economic sciences).
