Khmelevtsova L.E. entered the Rostov State University, Faculty of Biology and Soil Science, in 2004. She has specialized in the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology since 2007. In 2008, she graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Southern Federal University, after which she studied for a master's degree in 2008-2010. She graduated with a master's degree and received the qualification: biologist, master of biology. In 2012-2019, she held the position of junior researcher at the laboratory of ecology and molecular biology of microorganisms of the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of SFedU, and since 2020, she has been a senior researcher at this laboratory. In 2018, she defended her dissertation on the topic "Ecotoxicological assessment of soils and bottom sediments of the impact zone of the Novocherkassk State District Power Plant using bacterial lux-biosensors" for the degree of candidate of biological sciences in specialty 03.02.08 - ecology (biological sciences). The work was carried out on the basis of the laboratory of ecology and molecular biology of microorganisms of the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of SFedU.
Research interests: oil-oxidizing microorganisms, hydrocarbon biodegradation, ROS generation by microorganisms, biodegradation genes, antibiotic resistance genes, monitoring of environmental objects, lux-biosensors, antibiotic resistance genes, soil microbiome, expression of bacterial stress genes
The job responsibilities of L.E. Khmelevtsova include: includes setting up experiments within the laboratory's R&D work, analyzing the obtained data, analyzing Russian and foreign publications on the research topic, writing chapters of the R&D report, writing articles for Russian and foreign publications.
Khmelevtsova L.E. has 28 articles in publications indexed in the Web of Science/Scopus databases (including 12 in Q1 publications), 92 publications in the RSCI database, including 11 articles in Russian journals included in the VAK list, 52 abstracts in collections of materials from Russian and international conferences.
