On October 22, 2021, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences in the specialty 5.6.1. National History on the topic "National policy of the Soviet state on the Don, Kuban and Stavropol in the 1920s and 1930s."
He lectures and conducts seminars at the Institute of History and International Relations of the Southern Federal University. They manage the scientific work of bachelors, undergraduates, postgraduates and applicants of the SFU IIMO.
He has published more than 70 scientific articles, including articles in scientific journals included in international databases (Scopus and Web of Science).
