Been working at the Southern Federal University since 2005, at the Faculty of Management since 2014, since its founding. He graduated with honors from the Rostov State Construction University with a degree in Economics and Enterprise Management and received the qualification of Economist-Manager. He completed postgraduate and doctoral studies in the specialty: Economics and management of the national economy: economics of environmental management. Defended his thesis on the topic: “Improving the mechanism for environmental and economic assessment of urban land property in the conditions of a developing land market.” Defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Development of methods for managing the sustainable development of territorial socio-ecological and economic systems.” Awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Docent).
Practical experience: Specialist of marketing department of ERTOS Center, Head of regional office of GC"Grand", the economist-valuer LLC "SINTEKS".

Priority direction of scientific activity: Research work is concentrated in the following areas: management of the integrated development of urbanized (urban) territories, development of the region's innovative potential, risk management and environmental risk management, environmental economics. Conducts training of highly qualified personnel in scientific specialties: Mathematical, statistical and instrumental methods in economics; Regional and sectoral economics; Management; Management in organizational systems.
Related research interests: sustainable development management, public administration, modeling of socio-economic processes, risk management, environmental management.

Main scientific achievements: Published more than 250 scientific and educational works, including monographs (including in English), articles (WoS, Scopus, Agris), textbooks. Software products and databases on broad scientific issues have been registered. Expert work: He conducts active expert work, being a federal expert in the scientific and technical sphere, and annually participates in the examination of applications for Presidential grant competitions. Expert work noted by the Competence Center for the Development of the Urban Environment of the Regional Development Corporation and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Rostov Region.

Short Academic Biography
Anton Murzin, Professor, PhD in Economics, Doctor of technical sciences, has been working at the Southern Federal University since 2005. Graduated with honors from the Rostov State Construction University, qualified as an economist-manager. In 2005, he defended PhD thesis with a degree in environmental economics. In 2009 he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2021, he defended doctoral thesis in the specialty of management in socio-economic systems.
