Management education at the Southern Federal University has been intensively developing since 1994. A natural milestone in the 30-year history of the formation of management education was the formation of the Faculty of Management of the Southern Federal University in 2014. Today, the faculty has established a school of management, which is the mainstay of management science in the South of Russia and dynamically responds to new challenges.

The global changes that have been taking place in the world since 2020 are fundamentally changing both the business environment and the approaches of companies to management. One of the main consequences of global transformations are mobile fluctuations in the global business landscape, in the international capital and labor markets, new, primarily digital, technologies, and knowledge. The result of this is the emergence of more opportunities as well as threats. It is obvious that all this poses new challenges for managers, when the success of business, the sustainability of the management of organizations, and their competitive advantages largely depend on the development and transformation of traditional business models, and not on the simple use of internal factors of extensive growth.

Companies are forced to change development strategies and business models, which actualizes new research priorities in the field of international business and sustainable management: completely new subject areas of research are being formed; management guidelines are being transformed; new business development tools are being developed; the system of academic research itself is changing.

The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.

The main directions of the conference:
1. Modern trends in international management and business: challenges and opportunities.
2. The imperatives of smart and sustainable management in a digital environment.
3. Human capital in an innovative economy: new management guidelines.
4. Innovation management in the sustainable development economy
5. Global environmental changes and environmental management.

INFORMATION LETTER

To participate in the conference, you must fill out the registration form by November 1.

Forms of participation in the conference:

-presentation of the results of scientific research at meetings in face-to-face or remote format;

-participation in the Youth Forum of the conference (for students).

The Youth forum will be held in a face-to-face format with broadcast on an online platform. Students and undergraduates of all fields whose scientific and practical interests include the issues of the conference are invited to participate.  Registration link: form 

Following the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a thematic collection of works, which will be sent for indexing to the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC) and posted on the eLibrary platform.

Only original research materials in Russian and English are accepted for publication. The share of authentic author's text should be at least 80%.

Articles for publication in the collection of the RSCI that meet the requirements must be sent to itibsm@sfedu.ru until December 1, 2024. The publication is free of charge.

Individual author's materials can be published during the year by a foreign publishing house in English in a thematic collection with the possibility of indexing in international abstract databases. For publication questions, please contact the organizing committee of the conference by email.
