The traditionally busy calendar of sporting events ends at the end of May on the mini-football field. Every year, about 200 athletes from among the students, staff and graduates of the university take part in the games. After the end of the group stage, the strongest teams meet in elimination games, where there is no room for error.

The following pairs met at the quarterfinals stage:

Latinos United – Top Grain
Morocco – ITA SFedU-2
Shakhtyor – Staraya Gvardiya
Vodokachka National Team – FC TKM

Top Grain confidently defeated Latinos United with a score of 5:1, Morocco defeated ITA SFedU-2 with a score of 9:3. In the Shakhtyor – Staraya Gvardiya pair, the winner had to be revealed in a penalty shootout, and Shakhtyor became the winner. In the last match of the quarter–finals, we saw only 1 goal - Halpenesov Rejepmyrat scored the ball from the transfer of Tekaev Rovshen.

In the first semi–final match, Top Grain beat Morocco in a tense struggle, in the second, Nikita's goal brought Shakhtyor a ticket to the finals, and FC TKM had to settle for only a match for bronze medals, which, by the way, they were able to win by beating Morocco 4:3.

In the final, Top Grain scored 3 unanswered goals to Shakhtyor and lifted the winner's cup on his head, thereby writing himself into history.

Yakov Aslanov, Vice-rector for Educational Work and Implementation of Youth Programs, made a welcoming speech at the award ceremony, who noted that the whole football world is waiting for the results of the Champions League, the Russian Premier League and, of course, the SFedU Rector's Cup.
