On the day of Russian Science – February 8 – students and teachers return from remote training and work to universities and laboratories and launch the All-Russian flash mob "Back to Science".
The action will be launched by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov, and the President of the Russian Union of Rectors, the Rector of Moscow State University, Academician Viktor Sadovnichy.
The action" Back to Science " symbolizes the return of students and teachers to the classroom and laboratory, and also emphasizes the contribution of Russian scientists to the development of the COVID-19 vaccine, as one of the main scientific achievements of 2020.
Dozens of major Russian universities and research organizations have confirmed their participation in the campaign. Therefore, in every region, from the Far East to the Kaliningrad Region, hundreds of thousands of students and researchers will post photos and videos on their social networks with the hashtag #SNOVAVNAUKU.
The most creative posts will be published in the official accounts of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
The event is held within the framework of the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation. The organizers of the flash mob are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Rectors with the participation of the organizing committee of the NAUKA 0+Festival.
