On May 28, at the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa, the President of SFedU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Marina Borovskaya made a presentation at the VI All-Russian Open Academy "Territory of Women's Happiness" on the management of endowment funds and the long-term sustainability of universities.
During her speech, Marina Borovskaya emphasized that the endowment fund is not an "additional wallet", but a system for managing financial capital, trust and project choice on the horizon of 10-15 years.
Marina Alexandrovna presented a model of a Knowledge Center based at the Southern Federal University, a research laboratory for the development of endowment funds in the field of education and science. The laboratory will provide methodological support, analytics, webinars, and networking for universities, schools, and research institutes.
It is planned that the SFedU's endowment management practices will be replicated within the framework of the regional Endowment Development strategy and will form the basis of practical recommendations for universities in Southern Russia.
